What is kasha?

Kasha is a term for buckwheat groats that have been roasted. It is also known in Japan as “sobacha” and is a popular tea enjoyed for its many benefits. This tea has a nutty, earthy taste similar to black tea, but with less bitter notes. Kasha can also be used in porridge style preparations. Below are some kasha products you can find easily online or at your local food health stores.
