Tahini originated in the Eastern Mediterranean and is typically made of toasted ground sesame seeds made into a paste. Tahini is rich in antioxidants and healthy fats. Similarly, hemp hearts are a great addition to a traditional Tahini, as they are also heart-healthy and are rich in vitamins, amino acids and healthy fats. Combined with the delicious spices and acidity of the lemon juice, this is a healthy recipe made it flavor heaven. 

Because of the high amounts of healthy fats in this recipe, it is a great carrier for adding CBD oil too.   1. Strain the hemp hearts and rinse under cold water. In a blender, combine all of the ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Store in a mason jar or airtight container and use it as a dip for vegetables, grilled meats, and as a dressing for salads.
